Our Story: The Kynlo Park™ Journey

From the Golden Gate to the Emerald City

Our story began during a cross-country move from San Francisco to Seattle. Exploring the beautiful, rugged landscapes of the Pacific Northwest with our Dalmatian and lilac merle tri-color Border Collie was a dream, but walking them quickly became a challenge.

Over the years, we went through dozens of different harnesses. We tried every material under the sun. Some were easy to put on but incredibly fragile, snapping after a few park visits. Others were strong but bulky, chafing our dogs' skin and making it impossible to control their pulling without causing them discomfort. We were stuck choosing between gear that was tough but ugly, or beautiful but useless.

We knew there had to be a better way. So, we decided to build it.

The Moment of Truth: A Vision of Better Days

We will never forget the moment everything changed. It was a classic, torrential Pacific Northwest afternoon. We stood on the shoreline of Alki Beach, the wind whipping off the Sound, rain blurring the Seattle skyline. As we watched our dogs struggle against gear that was waterlogged, heavy, and restrictive, a single, powerful truth crystallized: our precious little loved ones deserve better.

They don't choose the weather; they just want to explore. They deserve to run freely, completely unburdened by the elements. They deserve gear crafted for the toughest environments—whether they are tackling a muddy mountain incline, sprinting across a sandy beach, or diving into a swimming hole. They deserve a raincoat that lets them sprint through a downpour with absolute freedom, keeping them warm and dry while they live their very best lives.

Kynlo Park™ was born out of a desire for pet gear that demands zero compromises. We stopped buying off-the-shelf and started curating our own premium collections. Every single harness and raincoat in our collection represents a meticulous process of selection and design.

We hand-select only the highest-grade, weather-resistant materials—like our ultra-soft, padded neoprene and breathable air-mesh—ensuring they are gentle on sensitive skin but tough enough to handle a heavy-pulling dog. Each design is inspired by classic, handcrafted craftsmanship, featuring premium metal hardware and elegant details that look beautiful in a local Seattle coffee shop or out on a rugged coastal trail.

Before any Kynlo Park™ product reaches your pup, it is hand-inspected and tested on our very own dogs right here in Seattle. If it isn't durable enough for a rainy PNW winter and comfortable enough for a sleepy afternoon, we don't sell it.
